This project marked one of the most comprehensive transformations we've taken on to date. The client came to us in complete disarray, faced with a garden that was far from functional. It wasn’t level, making much of the space unusable, and it lacked the tidiness and ease of maintenance that the client desired. The garden was in desperate need of a full-scale redesign, requiring both practical solutions and an aesthetic upgrade to transform it into an inviting and easily manageable space. Our team approached this challenge with a clear vision: to create a modern, sleek, and functional garden that would be level, low-maintenance, and ready to be enjoyed year-round. We employed innovative techniques to address the uneven terrain, reorganize the layout, and introduce a more contemporary style that seamlessly blended function and beauty. With a focus on user-friendliness, the garden was transformed into a space that the client could easily maintain while still offering a sophisticated, stylish finish. This overhaul was no small feat, but the results speak for themselves. The garden now boasts a clean, elegant design that’s usable for any purpose—whether for relaxation, social gatherings, or practical everyday use. Not only is it level and accessible, but it’s also designed with long-term maintenance in mind, ensuring that the client can enjoy this new space without the burden of constant upkeep.

This is where we started. As mentioned, the garden lacked space, utility, and desire. We had long way to go.

We began by clearing out everything that needed to go, and there was a lot of it. The derelict fish pond was first to go, being drained and knocked down. Then went all the existing slabs, the shed base, and the unwanted shrubbery around the fences.

Out with the old and in with the new! We removed the old crumbling fence and installed a new set of panels and posts built to last.

Outside the backdoor, we installed a small slabbed area, fit with a drainage system. This offered a sleek break to the upcoming turf, all the while keeping the garden free of water.

The new wall was installed in lieu of the old shed base, and a retaining sleeper wall at the top of the garden to accompany the new level. A vegetable bed was installed along the eastern fence, and a sub base was laid in preparation for the upcoming artificial turf.

Finally, the finished product. The client wanted easy to maintain, level, tidy and usable. So, we delivered top of the range artificial turfing, that ticked off every one of these boxes.
