The garden’s starting state shows the aftermath of Storm Darragh—a scene of disrepair and neglect. Broken fence panels hung loosely, offering little privacy or protection, while the lawn was overgrown and patchy, with an uneven surface that had been ignored for far too long. The space was in need of a complete overhaul to bring it back to life and make it functional again.
Here’s the beginning of the transformation: we installed robust concrete posts, treated gravel boards, and brand-new fence panels—all painted in a sleek, weather-resistant finish to ensure durability and style. The gravel layer laid beneath is the foundation for the next stage of the project, where stability and attention to detail were key to achieving long-lasting results.
With the structural improvements well underway, we turned our focus to unifying the garden’s look. The existing fence panels and posts, which had faded over time, were meticulously treated and painted to match the modern greyscale theme of the new panels. Meanwhile, the gravel was compacted with precision using a whacker plate, ensuring a perfectly even surface for laying the astroturf.
The finished garden is a testament to thoughtful craftsmanship and care. The astroturf adds a lush and vibrant look while being easy to maintain, the beautifully painted fences create a cohesive and polished aesthetic, and the patio has been pressure-washed to perfection, restoring its natural colour and shine. A once-neglected space has been transformed into a clean, modern, and inviting outdoor area ready for any occasion.
